JESS schools are “outstanding” according to the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau report April 2009

JUMEIRAH ENGLISH SPEAKING SCHOOL (JESS) has been rated as an “Outstanding School” by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). JESS which has locations in Jumeriah and Arabian Ranches, had both of these branches rated in the top category by school inspectors who visited the schools in 2008.

The inspector reports are a seal of approval for JESS who seek to provide an outstanding quality of education for their students. The Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau (DSIB), the division of the KHDA assigned to rating schools were glowing in their praise and stressing that JESS delivers fully on the expectations of parents at all levels and that there is an unyielding drive for the quest of excellence.

This year, JESS has continued its development as a centre of excellence, by gaining IB World School status and are anticipating opening their sixth form college in September.

Since 1976, JESS as a non-profit making school, has provided children in Dubai with a high quality education in a challenging learning environment. Over that time the school has built a reputation as one of the finest British curriculum schools. JESS are offering the full school range from three to eighteen years for children who can demonstrate the proficiency to successfully access the curriculum through the medium of English.

JESS is committed to the development of the whole individual offering a pupil centered educational experience that prepares students to meet all that lies ahead in their personal and professional lives. They offer a learning environment that provides the ideal setting to help all students achieve their maximum potential in their academic studies, whilst promoting their social, cultural, emotional, aesthetic and physical development. Inspections undertaken by the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau have identified all aspects of all three JESS schools as being ‘outstanding’. This is a major achievement reflecting the high levels of professionalism and commitment offered by their staff who were justifiably very proud of this acknowledgement by the KHDA.
