centre imports books from the UK, US, Canada, Australia and France. The
volume of orders is such that we do not charge our clients for freight,
and with competitive discounts we can deliver textbooks and equipment
at very competitive prices. We make sure that books are grouped
and packaged accordingly before they reach you, either by department
or by grade.
- Library fulfilment services
We are the only educational institute
in the region that provides a comprehensive library service that includes
consultation, ordering, cataloguing, colour coding, spine labelling
and covering, again at very competitive rates.
- Facilities hire
Our modern, purpose-built facility on the Sharjah
Road in Deira can accommodate up to 100 people in a large lecture room. Available
to schools for a minimal fee, the facility also has multi-media capabilities
and can be used for examinations, open days or seminars.
- Arabic teaching resources
The centre’s sister company Jerboa Books, is a publishing house
that specialises in publishing local-interest children’s books
and learning aids in both English and Arabic. These bilingual
resources are one of a kind in the region, and we are delighted to stock
them.
- Teacher recruitment services
A relatively new service from the resource
centre, teacher recruitment is typically offered to graduating students
of the PGCE course, which the centre hosts every year. Our vast
network of educational institutions has enabled us to find several
teachers placements at schools within the region.
- School uniforms
Our reputation for good quality product extends to
uniforms, and this is demonstrated through several private schools
using Magrudy’s
